Benjamin Dauber is a junior studying Biological Sciences at the University of Chicago. He joined The Triple Helix, Inc. in the Spring of 2010 as a writer for the Science In Society Review and was fortunate to have his first article, "Medicine Lost In Translation," published as an international feature. Next, after holding various positions in the Print and E-Pub Divisions and enjoying a run as Co-Vice President, Benjamin served as the Co-President of The Triple Helix at the University of Chicago for a little over a year. As Co-President, Benjamin helped to create several new TTH UChicago divisions, including production, marketing, and IT. He also founded an original undergraduate research journal, Scientia, a TTH affiliate that is unique to the Chicago chapter.

Outside of The Triple Helix, Benjamin conducts clinical research at the U of C Medical Center and has had the opportunity to present his work at several medical conferences and publish in several academic journals. His research interests include language barriers in the health care system and health care market structures. Benjamin is looking forward to joining the International team and hopes to strengthen the wave of global connectedness and communication among all TTH members.

Prathima Radhakrishnan is a rising third year at the University of Chicago, majoring in biochemistry, and the biological sciences with a specialization in neuroscience. She is also minoring in English and creative writing. After reading books like Janine Benyus's Biomimicry and Thomas Friedman's Hot, Flat, and Crowded, Prathima became interested in combining biomimicry, which draws inspiration from nature in the creation of new products and materials, with a positive, progressive form of environmentalism. This is what she writes about for the Triple Helix. When she's not thinking or writing about science, Prathima sings, daydreams, enjoys bookshops and the books within them, and writes science fiction-fantasy.
